CLAY AIKEN CONFIRMS, "I'M GAY"

At last!! I thought he would keep this secret in the closet forever. I know most of us knew already or at least suspected that Clay Aiken(former American Idol runner up) is gay, but he has officially came out the closet and admitted it to the world. According to People magazine, he decided to come out in spite of his son that was born August 8th through in vitro fertilization.

"It was the first decision I made as a father," Aiken, 29, tells the upcoming issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday. "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that."

So, how will his fans react? Yet to be determined. But his mom reacted just as any mother would, who had no idea all these years. She must have been surprised and overwhelmed. She had no idea, which I don't understand. A bit odd if I may add, it was too obvious at least to the public eye.

"So what was his mom's reaction? "She cried. She was stunned, but very supportive and very comforting." Even now, Aiken admits, "She still struggles with things quite a bit, but she's come a long way."

Amy Winehouse has vomited on designer dresses

Amy Winehouse has committed a fashion crime.

She borrowed £25,000 worth of designer dresses from London’s Harvey Nichols and returned them with vomit stains. There was even a furry mold growing on the satin and silk gowns that made them unwearable.

Harvey Nichols has now asked for their £25k back.

EWWWW!

Notorious Trailer

The Notorious B.I.G. is finally coming to theaters!

Fox Searchlight has hired Jamal Woolard, a Brooklyn-based rapper, to play late rap icon Biggie Smalls, a.k.a. the Notorious B.I.G., in its upcoming biopic “Notorious.”

Derek Luke, Angela Bassett and Anthony Mackie also have been cast in the movie, the art-house studio said. Directed by George Tillman Jr. (”Soul Food”), it goes into production this month and is set for release in January.

Luke (”Catch a Fire”) will play Biggie record producer Sean “Diddy” Combs, who off-screen is an executive producer on the film. Mackie (”Brother to Brother”) will play rival rapper Tupac Shakur, while Bassett (”Akeelah and the Bee”) will play Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace.

The production held an open casting call last fall in the hope of finding the next Notorious B.I.G., ne Christopher Wallace, the generously built East Coast rapper who was killed in an unsolved Los Angeles drive-by in 1997.
The idea, executives said, was that as with casting for sports movies like “Miracle,” the production would be better served with a non-actor who can rap and imitate Biggie than with a pro actor who might need to be taught how to rap.
More than 100 Biggie wannabes, many of them non-pros and all with the requisite size, turned out to show off their rapping and impersonation skills.

Woolard, who also is known as Gravy, is not a total unknown. He has released a number of albums, though he’s perhaps best known for being shot before a radio appearance outside the New York hip-hop station Hot 97 two years ago, after which he proceeded with the interview and became a part of hip-hop lore.
Like Biggie, Woolard was a drug dealer before he became a rapper. He had released a number of albums on indie labels in the 1990s before being signed by Warner Bros.

Voletta Wallace cited “Jamal’s charming personality, warm spirit, wonderful sense of humor and beautiful smile” as reasons for the casting. “He is a talented and charismatic actor, and I am excited that he will bring Christopher’s character to life,” she said.

Biggie, who drew on his experiences as a drug dealer in his rapping, is considered a seminal figure in the hip-hop world; his posthumously released “Life After Death” was a top seller and is considered one of the most influential hip-hop records of the modern era. “Notorious” is expected to examine his troubled life, his music and his impact.

Lets see how Naturi Naughton does in the role of Lil' Kim. This controversial character who spews sexually explicit lyrics is completely different than G-rated personas her former 3LW bandmates Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams have pursued as the Disney superstars The Cheetah Girls. It would be good for Naturi to get another shot after getting the boot from 3LW.

Other interesting credits include Antonique Smith as Faith Evans. The movie was co-written by Cheo Hodari Coker, who interviewed Biggie three days before he was fatally shot after leaving a music industry after party on March 9, 1997. It was Biggie's last interview.

Below is a movie trailer of the movie expected to be released January 16, 2009.

Robert Pattinson - “Interview Magazine” October 2008

Michael Martin interviewed Robert Pattinson for the October 2008 issue of Interview Magazine (with James Franco on the cover). Here’s the article and a new pic of Robert with his pants hanging off his ass:

– Alert the tabloids: Harry Potter actor linked to drug house! Twenty-two-year-old Robert Pattinson fondly recalls his time living in a “cool little ex-crack den” in London with best friend Tom Sturridge. He’s joking (we think) about their bad behavior as struggling young actors. “We spent the better part of a year just getting drunk every night,” Pattinson admits. “I don’t know if that counts as ’struggling.’” After the debauchery ended, Pattinson co-starred as Cedric Diggory in two Harry Potter movies. A former child model–he posed professionally from ages 12 to 15 (”when I stopped looking like a girl”)–Pattinson has been dubbed “the next Jude Law” in the British press. “I don’t really see the similarity,” he says. One opportunity to break out comes via next year’s Little Ashes, a Spanish drama in which Pattinson stars as the young Salvador Dali. But first, there’s the vampire thriller Twilight, based on the popular teen books, in which Pattinson plays Edward, a 108-year-old bloodsucker in love with a high school girl. Horror fans are already stalking him. “It’s funny,” Pattinson says, “because teenage girls would say,” Oh my God, you’re Cedric!’ It switched in a week to ‘Oh, my God, it’s Edward!’ Allegiances change to freely in the teen-girl world.”
